Graphic novel tells emotional tale of Jews in 1930s aimed at modern audience

The Jerusalem Post has given a favorable review to Judessey, a graphic novel published by Post Hill Press / Wicked Son. Written by Shay Charka, his graphic novel is mainly for teens and young adults, but all fans of the graphic novel format can enjoy the story.

The Jerusalem Post writes: “Judessey is a fast-moving and attention-grabbing tale, not without moments of real emotion, told in a series of vivid hand-drawn pictures, embellished with speech bubbles. It is clearly designed to inform the modern generation about some basic aspects of the Jewish experience in the 20th century in a way that appeals, and is relevant, to them. But it can certainly be read and enjoyed by readers of any age.”
