A woman and her dog journey across the Americas by motorcycle and discover home is everywhere you go together.

It’s a bold—or maybe crazy—idea when Jess Stone sets off to ride a motorcycle around the world. She has no savings, and she’s trying to launch the craftsman dog gear brand RUFFLY. Bolder—or crazier—still, she rides with her 75-pound dog on the back of the motorcycle with the goal to raise $100,000 for a girls’ charity.

While riding to the very top and bottom of the Americas, Jess overcomes enormous obstacles. After she nearly runs out of money in Mexico, her husband suffers a severe motorcycle accident before her beloved dog and copilot, Moxie, passes away.

Through the many challenges and moments of tragedy, Jess discovers something strange and truly wonderful. Moments of home can happen is many different and unexpected places along a journey: under the roofless ruins of an abandoned church in Mexico, camping in the Darien Gap wilderness, seaside at the Arctic Ocean, before sunrise high in the Andes Mountains, and where wildfires blaze across the Amazon jungle.
