Toby Tate

After high school, Toby served eight years in the US Navy, where he worked closely with marines and SEALs. He later completed his degree in English and spent five years as a newspaper journalist. During that time, he began writing magazine articles, novels, and screenplays. Toby’s novels have been praised by Midwest Book Review, Library Journal, and Cemetery Dance, as well as by New York Times bestselling authors Steve Berry, Douglas Preston, Jonathan Maberry, and Steve Alten. The Lilitu Trilogy was marketed to bookstores nationwide by Permuted Press in 2017. Toby is currently co-producing several films based on his original screenplays. He currently resides with his wife in North Carolina.
