Dr. Shivi Greenfield is a political theorist and advisor whose work explores questions of collective identity, belonging, and the sources of meaning in modern life. He has served in senior leadership roles within public and Jewish institutions, including as chief strategy officer and deputy director general of the Jewish Agency, overseeing global planning and strategy across dozens of countries.
Greenfield holds a PhD in political theory from Oxford University, where he was a Weidenfeld Scholar, and has held research positions at NYU Law School and the Van Leer Jerusalem Institute. He is a fellow of the Z3 Institute for Jewish Priorities and the author of Judaism and Liberalism: A Metaphysical Tale of Two Siblings, originally published in Hebrew. His writing spans political philosophy, history, and cultural analysis. He lives in Israel with his family.
