Shauna Brittenham Reiter graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Furman University with a BA in political science. In 2018, she founded the wellness company Alaya Naturals based on the principles of holistic health that led her from a psychiatric hospital at the age of nineteen to founding a multimillion-dollar wellness company before the age of forty. Diagnosed with Crohn’s disease in her teens, congenital neutropenia in her twenties, and a heart condition in her thirties, Shauna was led to cultivate a wealth of knowledge simply to survive. And while her focus on natural medicine has made radical healing possible for herself and hundreds of thousands of others, it is Shauna’s exploration of the world within that has resulted in true miracles. Before founding Alaya Naturals, Shauna shared her voice as a singer and songwriter; her album Dreamer’s Dream was released in 2017. She currently resides in Los Angeles with her husband and two children.
