Sayeh Rivazfar

Sayeh Rivazfar is a retired New York State Police investigator with over twenty years of service. She currently works with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC). She is also an adjunct professor of criminal justice, a nationally recognized victim advocate, keynote speaker, and author whose work bridges lived experience and professional expertise in trauma, resilience, and child protection.

Throughout her career, she has specialized in complex child abuse investigations and has partnered with NCMEC for more than two decades. She has spoken across the United States and Canada to law enforcement, educators, policymakers, and community organizations on trauma-informed response, collaborative practice, and the strengthening systems that support children and families.

Drawing from both lived experience and extensive professional expertise in law enforcement, victim advocacy, and education, Sayeh brings a unique perspective to her writing and public speaking. She is the co-author of What About Me? Finding Your Path Forward When Your Brother or Sister is Missing, a US Department of Justice publication. She is a graduate of SUNY Fredonia.
