Jean Marie Pierson is a book publishing industry veteran. Her novel No Good Girls was nominated for two prestigious Rita Awards under the “Best First Book” and “Best Contemporary Single Title Romance” categories. She founded and taught three writing programs in Hunterdon County, New Jersey; a creative writing course for female inmates incarcerated at Edna Mahan Correctional Facility for Woman; a creative writing and poetry class at Bonnie Brae, a school for boys in crisis; and a creative writing course for homeless veterans at Veterans Haven North. Jean Marie Pierson guest lectures at Penn State University and has written for Mediabistro.com and The RWR Report. She is an active member of the Women’s Media Group. She lives in Clinton, New Jersey, with her son.
