Anthea Jeffery holds degrees in law from the University of the Witwatersrand and the University of Cambridge, as well as a PhD from the University of London. For many years, she has served as head of policy research at the South African Institute of Race Relations (IRR), a respected think tank founded in 1929 to oppose racial discrimination. She is the author of twelve books on historical and contemporary South African politics, including the ANC’s “people’s war” from 1984 to 1994 and the Moscow-inspired National Democratic Revolution it has since been implementing. Her decades of research into the power of propaganda and the legal reality of apartheid in South Africa give her unmatched authority to evaluate the accusations now leveled at Israel.
